Reuse, Repair Reconnect: Creating Circular Communities

Join us for a full day of connection, learning, and inspiration focused on the rapidly evolving fields of reuse and repair. This Pre-Conference Day will bring together practitioners, community leaders, educators, and innovators to share updates, lessons learned, practical tools, and emerging opportunities related to community reuse infrastructure, repair initiatives, workforce development, and collaborative solutions. 

 

Through presentations, workshops, and peer exchange, participants will explore strategies to strengthen local reuse and repair systems, expand community engagement, and advance sustainable materials management across New York State and beyond.

STUDENTS: 

Registration - opening this week!  

Discounted tickets are offered to active students enrolled in a University, College or Grade School.  Verification may be requested.  

 

GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES:

NEW!  We are offering government employees a 3-day discounted registration rate.  Available only for  a three-day ticket, Nov 18-20th.  Find tickets under Member or Non-Member buttons above.  Ticket expires October 30th, don't delay.  Daily tickets are not available.  Verification may be requested. 

 

VIRTUAL TICKETS/PACKAGE: 

This year we continue to offer virtual tickets and a virtual ticket package. We invite all registered attendees to download the award-winning conference App Whova!  This is the fifth year we are using Whova to allow our attendees the best conference experience.  We encourage everyone attending to use the App that allows you to network with others, send messages, read Bio's, create and view your own Agenda, view the Conference agenda in the palm of your hand, see realtime updates, receive conference announcements on the Community Board and post content too!  By using the App, you'll gain more from the conference and walk away satisfied you did!

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

ROOM BLOCK EXPIRES FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th

The conference will be held at the beautiful and historic Otesaga, 60 Lake Street, Cooperstown, NY 13326 so there is no need to travel further to experience all the sessions and events planned.  We have reserved a room block in our event name "NYSAR3 37th Annual Conference & Trade Show" at a rate of $249/night plus associated taxes (standard room only).  Below are your instructions for booking at The Otesaga.  The room block expires Friday, September 18th so don't delay! 

There are 2 ways to book:

  1. Guests can reach the Reservations Office M-F 8a-6p and weekends 830a-5p (hours may vary) at 866-494-0085. To get the special rate they should mention the name of the event and the dates.
  2. Guests can go to our website 24/7 using this direct booking link: NYSAR3 2026

    They will need to input the following to gain access:
    Group ID: 34W21Y
    Password: NYSAR326 (case-sensitive)

Any guests not referring to the group when calling or book improperly online will not be eligible for the discounted rate at a later date once the block is full and/or past the cutoff date.

Otesaga Room Cancellation Policy: 

A one-night deposit is required at booking to confirm your reservation. Cancellations between the booking date and 30 days prior to arrival will incur a $55.00 administrative fee (per room). You are able to modify your reservation up until 30 days prior to your check-in date without a penalty. At this 30-day period we will then charge the remaining balance of your stay and it becomes non-refundable, non-changeable, non-cancellable. Failure to arrive on the confirmed arrival date will result in the cancellation of your stay and the forfeiture of your entire deposit. Cancellations or changes made within 30 days of arrival will result in entire deposit forfeiture.
