Welcome to the Reuse Committee!

The Reuse Committee is a thriving statewide network of reuse & repair professionals that value upstream sustainable materials management solutions. The Committee seeks to connect and empower communities to expand their reuse/repair programs, reduce waste, and promote economic resilience.

If you are just getting started, have been in reuse/repair for a long time, or are simply curious to learn more, all are welcome to join! 

The Reuse Committee meets virtually on the 2^nd Tuesday of each month via Zoom from 11:00am-12:00pm Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Community Reuse Grant

The Community Reuse Grant is an annual grant offered by the NYSAR³ Reuse Committee in partnership with the Center for Sustainable Materials Management (CSMM). The grant supports community-based groups, municipalities, businesses, and non-profit organizations in New York State implement reuse & repair initiatives in their communities. Grant application opens in mid-summer, annually.
