Reuse Committee

Reuse Committee's Vision

Reuse of materials is broadly understood and accepted as a primary choice for effective materials management, and systems for reuse and repair are universally available to the people and businesses in NYS.

Reuse Committee's Mission

To engage and collaborate with community-based partnerships, businesses, residents, various groups, and non-profit organizations; government entities, and trade groups, in developing awareness of and effective systems for the reuse and repair of materials, to improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of our state and the world.

Reuse Committee Goals

  • To promote awareness of reuse and repair as the primary choice for effective materials management through education and outreach,
  • To empower our reuse and repair community with operational and technical support and financial partnerships,
  • To be the voice of our reuse and repair community through legislative advocacy,
  • To create strong reuse and repair systems in the state through mentoring of our community and partnering with businesses, nonprofit organizations, government entities, and trade groups in achieving this and all of our goals.

All are welcome to join our Reuse Committee efforts.
