Dianne Woske Retires from NYSAR3 Board After 19 Years

On behalf of the NYSAR3 network, the Board and staff would like to formally recognize the dedication, contributions and achievements of long-time Board member, Dianne Woske who is retiring from the Chapter 5 Board position after 19 years of dedicated service. Over the years, Dianne has held many leadership positions including NYSAR3 board secretary, vice president and president of the organization and served on several committees including conference planning and media committee chair.

Coming to the recycling field from a background in journalism, Dianne brought a unique and valuable skillset to the Board, as editor of the NYSAR3 newsletter since 2002 (beginning with the printed publication and transitioning to an electronic format) and Media Committee Chair since 2009.

“As someone who has worked closely with Dianne for eight years now, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from and work with her. I admire her leadership style as she has been a reliable Board member who isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves to get a job done.” - Lisa Ruggero, NYSAR3 Coordinator.

Dianne was honored with a Recycling Leadership Award in 2013 for her work as the Fulton County Recycling Coordinator where she continues to oversee a county-wide recycling and education program as well as several other programs including latex paint exchange, household hazardous waste collection and electronics and textile recycling.

“Dianne has been a huge powerhouse contributor to the board for almost two decades. Her institutional knowledge and consistency make her an invaluable Board member and we are truly going to miss her involvement on the board. We definitely have some big shoes to fill.” - Kelli Timbrook, NYSAR3 President

Dianne plans to remain active as a member of NYSAR3 and in her position with Fulton County and we hope to continue seeing her at future NYSAR3 events.
